sentimental moments with Mom

6 years ago we knew this guy was on his way.  It was just the very beginning of a wonderful journey.  I can't put to words how this guy changed me and continues to delight my heart.  Last night we had a Mom and Nathan camp out - one more special time with my special boy. 

2 years ago this girl was on her way to us.  She has brought a whole new level of joy to our family.  Her hugs are freely given, complete with her arms wrapped around our necks.  I want to bottle her up!

Julia's First Birthday

This one is juuuust a little late.  We had a great time celebrating Julia's birthday on March 30.  Here's the birthday girl, in all her one-year-old glory. 

Nathan's birthday

 Yet another March 7th has come and gone.  Nathan turned 5 in style - we partied, we ate cake, and he opened great gifts.  Thanks to everyone for making Nathan's birthday extra special.  We sure love our big 5-year-old boy!

for Julie - Julia with Baby

Julia really loves her baby that Julie made for her a year ago.  Here are a couple of attempts to capture her with Baby.

The days are packed!

 To quote Calvin and Hobbes, the days are just packed!  We've been busy.  Nathan's quite the big boy, enjoying new things and becoming a helper.

Julia is extremely busy, herself.  She is more and more capable.  Her new game is to stand alone and then fall into Mom or Dad's arms.  When will she walk?  Probably sooner than we are ready for!
