"Betsy!!"

What does Nathan love these days? Mommy, who he recently started calling 'Betsy' or 'Betsy Colby Davie', is definitely at the top of the list. Last night Nathan and I were driving to Chipotle's to meet up with Betsy, and the whole way Nathan kept yelling 'Betsy' and smiling :-) I'd respond by saying 'are we going to have dinner with mommy?', but he decided to stick with 'Betsy'.


I'm optimistic that I (sometimes called 'daddy Colby Davie') am a close second place. He has said Chris a few times, but not nearly as much as he says Betsy.





Nathan is also pretty attached to his toy bus. He's been having fun on the Tumble Bus at daycare every Tuesday, and a few nights ago he asked to have his toy bus in the crib with him. Now the bus is added to his list of crib necessities (his blanket, baba, that we bought at H&M about 6 months before he was born; the Elmo book passed down from his cousin Lauren; "my pillow"; and the musical giraffe).

Nathan is also pretty addicted to playing inside the cars. So much so that it's hard to get him to go inside - even when it's time for dinner! You know he must love the cars if he'll choose them in place of eating :-)

And alas, the potty has just made it to the bottom of Nathan's list...
