Drumlin Farm

Two weeks ago we took Nathan to Drumlin Farm for the first time, and he loved it. Since then he's talked about it several times a day and made it pretty clear that he wanted to go back. Yesterday he won. His cousin Max joined us, and that made it even better. I tried to get a few good pictures of Nathan and Max, but I was competing with the animals to get their attention, and the animals won hands down...

Nathan still has as love-hate relationship with animals. Yesterday he wanted the sheep to be fed some grass, but was hesitant to do it himself. Fortunately Max fed the sheep, and that made Nathan's day (a lot of smiling, clapping, and shouting).

The rest of these photos are mostly to humor Nathan. He's been asking to see pictures of Drumlin Farm quite a bit, and until yesterday we didn't have any of our own. Fortunately a Google search led us to some photos on Flickr, but I think Nathan will enjoy these (and the ones above) better:

When he plays with farm animal toys he often calls one of them mommy and one of them daddy, and I think we both find that pretty sweet. But I'll keep my fingers crossed that he doesn't say that when he see this picture...
