Hands and Fingers!

It's hard to believe that 7am on Saturday morning is the best time for personal activities like blogging, but here I am with a few minutes to myself in which I feel somewhat awake! For the last two weeks, we were spoiled by Grandma Colby with great home-cooked food, laundry done, and baby held while we slept. She left this morning, and we're faced with reality. (If I don't update for a while, you'll know why...)

In the last week: Nathan continues to discover his hands and fingers! We captured him sucking his thumb for the first time. It's an improvement over him sucking our fingers for comfort, but you can see he's a bit awkward... Now, if only he'd take the pacifier we'd be in business.

We're starting to introduce tummy time. Nathan is not sure what to think. Here he likes it, but I don't show the next picture from a minute later when he started crying...

A few pictures at 2 weeks old:

Our new family early in the evening:

Nothing better than holding Nathan right after a feeding. We think he's pretty sweet.
